Contractual Variation Agreement

By submitting this form I, the named employee, formally agree to the following variation to my contract of employment with Crown Payroll Services Ltd, in accordance with the Employment Rights Act 1996. This electronic submission, together with the generated reference number and timestamp, constitutes a binding written agreement between myself and Crown Payroll Services Ltd.

1. I consent to a contractual reduction in my gross pay by the annual sacrifice amount shown above, effective from the start date specified, subject to approval by Crown Payroll Services Ltd. I understand that Crown Payroll Services Ltd will make the equivalent contribution, together with the employer pension contribution, directly to The People's Pension on my behalf.

2. I confirm I have spoken to my line manager prior to submitting this request and they have indicated I may be eligible for this arrangement.

3. I confirm that the implied hourly rate shown in the calculator is at or above the National Minimum Wage applicable to my age group, as verified by the live GOV.UK rates loaded at the time of this submission.

4. I understand that the arrangement may be reviewed or withdrawn by Crown Payroll Services Ltd with at least one full pay period's written notice, except where immediate withdrawal is required to maintain National Minimum Wage compliance.

5. I understand that my notional pre-sacrifice salary will be used as the reference pay for all statutory pay calculations (SSP, SMP, SPP, ShPP, SPBP) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. I confirm this submission is made by me personally using my authenticated Crown Payroll Services staff portal account. The timestamp, reference number, and my National Insurance number serve as the formal record of this contractual variation, retained by Crown Payroll Services Ltd in accordance with UK employment law and UK GDPR.
